This jam is yet another homage to millennial love. Its juggling hate and love in one hand and regret and strength in the other. Its staring up into the sun and letting the beauty of its radiance wash over you even as its memory pains and blinds you. Its finding yourself connected to someone else, like there’s invisible threads of glue extending from your soul to theirs, and you’re trying to wash your hands, but the water doesn’t seem to help, all it seems to do is make the resilience of the glue all the more apparent. Its a sort of resignation to fate, of letting the past dictate rather than inform your future – limit rather than motivate, and yet it all remains stuck within your head – lost in reverie, unspoken and only escaping within the errant whispers of your confused and muddled thoughts.
