Do you ever look back to your youth and think about how there was this whole huge world just as complex as your current adult one going on that you were completely oblivious to?

I write about this way more in-depth and eloquently within my book, but it’s a sensation that often trips me out. The idea of our world expanding and growing with us as our minds expand and grow, shifting our individual existence from pure subjectivity to something of object reality.

Anyways, whenever I hear good music from the 90′s I think about this. How I was alive yet completely oblivious to the existence of such music and the culture that imbibed in it. It makes you realize that every era is complex and nuanced, and that its only our limited little slice of experiential knowledge that makes us view everything in this sort of warped and nostalgic (cynical) fashion.
