ENTER THE VIBE

Some songs just instantly give off this feeling, a vibe persay. It’s hard to describe with words, because of course, all the best feelings are. But upon hearing it, you instantly get in a certain mood and in your imagination envision a certain scene. These posts are my attempt to do the unthinkable, describe a vibe. Or of course, you can just let the video emit its vibe. But lets face it, some videos are complete shit.

This edition’s track comes from Canadian multi-instrumentalist Mac DeMarco (formerly of Makeout Videotape), and is off his latest release “Rock and Roll Night Club”.

VIBE
It’s hot in the unkempt house that’s littered with male filth. Alcohol of some sort is poured, herb of some sort is lit, and guitar is in hand. It’s time to get rid of her memory while the sun rhythmically peaks through the closed blinds that are being blown by the slight breeze outside the open windows, as if it’s trying to remind you that there is indeed a world out there.
