James Blake

James Blake has skills that most of us mere mortals only dream of having. The guy is somehow able to construct beautiful, yet subtle dubstep soundscapes, infused with the the lovely, brittle soulfulness of his voice. Every song of his just makes me feel like I’ve died, and my soul is just floating through the universe exploring every minute detail of infinity, with his voice alone guiding me through the darkness of the unexplored.

He has a new album coming out on April 8th called “Overgrown”. Word on the street is it’ll feature guest appearances from Brian Eno, and the one and only RZA. Here’s two of the singles he’s released so far, and if these are any indication of what the album has in store for us, then we are all in for quite the metaphysical experience when this thing drops.
