"Kid Friendly" EP - Mean Lady

I just happened to come across this today, and I must say, it’s pretty sweet. Mean Lady is composed of two young Delawareans, Katie Dill and Sam Nobles. They somehow are able to create this beautiful amalgamation of different sounds seem completely natural. The whole EP is a combination of downtempo, chillwave, jazz and blues, that’s all tied together by the soulful voice of Katie Dell. I can’t help but listen to this and imagine it being the perfect soundtrack to my own Alice in Wonderland-esque adventure through my subconscious. It’s like im floating through my own sunny, blissful dreamscape, exploring all the beauty that the world has to offer, all at my own leisurely pace. So don’t miss this one, it’s definitely a musical trip worth taking.
