"Phantasm (Feat. Nicole Millar)" - Cosmo's Midnight

This is definitely a Summer song, and the video just makes me want summer to hurry up and be here already. Which is saying something, since I live in Southern California, where it’s basically Summer all year round. So I can’t even imagine what it does for those of you who live where I hear these mysterious things called S-E-A-S-O-N-S (did I pronounce that correctly) exist.

This jam is the first official single from Cosmo’s Midnight, a group composed of two twin brothers, hailing from Sydney, Australia. On this track, the aussies have Nicole Millar take over vocal duties, and she provides some beautiful, laid-back, smooth vocals that float along perfectly over the chill instrumentals. The songs elastic, swelling qualities totally make me envision the ripples, bubbles and waves of the universe’s rarest liquid as it encompasses and engulfs my body, while I float weightlessly through it, gazing up at the rays of sunlight as they shine through the elemental barrier that separates me from reality. Bust out your short shorts and bikinis to this one bros and lady bros.
