"The Berlin Mixtape" - Sun Glitters

This whole mix is pretty dang sweet. The whole experience was something akin to walking through this whole mansion of sound, with each new song being a new room I was exploring with my ears. In other words it was awesome. Each room had its own vibe, its own images that my imagination conjured up, its own sonic boundaries, layers and textures that I explored and grooved to. The mix basically provided the soundtrack, and my imagination made the images, and I had my own full on motion picture playing out in my head. It almost seemed like it was a concept album, and like the whole thing was telling a story, in so much as I didn’t have to consciously think about what I was doing, it sort of all just unfolded itself and I interpreted it and understood everything perfectly. We were both speaking the same language. That’s one of my favourite things about cohesive musical collections. Its something that’s rare and wonderful to come by on an album, and even rarer almost impossible to come by on a mix. Needless to say it was great, and its definitely a ride ill be partaking in again.
