"Wheelhouse" EP - Moon Bounce

This dude is a part of the Chill Mega Chill family, one of my favourite families around. It’s like if the gods mated with hippies, their progeny would be every artist on this label. They just craft the chillest of tunes, but each artist is unique in their own way, carving out their own niche as they ride along on the chillwave. Moon Bounce’s tunes on his recently released “Wheelhouse” EP are a little of everything. He throws in crazy, almost spastic samples, acoustic instruments, sporadic beats, effects-laden vocals, and somehow ties it all together in a bundle of drenched out sound. Its an EP that reminds me of the cosmos. It vacillates between two worlds, chaos and serenity, yet somehow its able to embrace both while still maintaining its chilled out atmosphere.
