33. Pom Poms - “Betty”

This a jam that is hauntingly retro. It feels like the Pom Poms stumbled out of a time machine from the 50′s to grace our ears with a beautiful and earnest dose of warm fuzz . It’s a simplistic song that’s soaked in charm. A song that takes the  best from the past, yet avoids being anachronistic by steeping it in the progressiveness of modernity. It calls out to everything inside of us, everything we love and long for, reminding us that we can successfully wed the past and future together into a beautiful present that embraces and builds upon both.
