42. George Clanton - “Kill You In Bed”
George is back with yet another dose of electronic goodness. This track reminds me of the tin man finally finding his soul, with his insides reverberating little by little until they resonate completely, latching onto something real, something that actually feels and possesses warmth. It’s triumphant and earnest, and the perfect outro from a product of the 1980′s paying homage to the 1980′s in the most 80′s way imaginable. It’s like the closing scene of all those classic 80′s films, where the character finally realizes his/her potential and overcomes all odds to find his/her place in life. It’s climactic - sexually and spiritually. The tin man finally feeling emotion, and in that moment he’s flooded by it, drowned by every emotion - love, hate and fear - all of it in a singular instance of intense orgasmic human ecstasy.
